BACA:Portfolio was founded in 2022 upholding those values. Our portfolio preparation courses offer a great opportunity for aspiring artists of any age to expand their knowledge and dive deep into Western art and culture.
You will explore all aspects of a professional portfolio preparation. Including, but not limited to: research, experiments, conceptual development and implementation.
BACA:Portfolio is a full-service school, providing all from project planning and execution, to the creation of a meaningful digital portfolio that will stand out to support for visa application as well as university application. Winter and summer workshops are also part of BACA:Portfolio.
The programme introduces a systematic methodology of art and design research. You will develop and complete a series of individual projects under the guidance of your instructors. The final portfolio will demonstrate your individual understanding of art, design and media as well as display your technical skills, enabling you to apply for further education at BACA Foundation, UAL Foundation or universities in the UK, USA, Canada or Australia.
To meet your individual needs, we offer two packages. All BACA:Portfolio packages include one-on-one classes. A class typically includes brief development, creation of your body of work, your sketchbook digital portfolio development, continuous progress tracking as well as supervision and guidance by a professional art and design teacher.
Generally, the BACA:Portfolio scheduling services follow a bespoke system. This means that the classes are held flexibly and can be arranged according your schedule.

BACA: Portfolio offers application handling services for graduate, graduate preparatory and undergraduate programs in the UK, the US, Australia and New Zealand as well as Europe and other locations.
Portfolio Design Services (excluding video projects): An additional fee of 1,000 RMB per project will be charged for portfolio design services. The output format will be in high-definition JPG or PDF. You are required to provide sketches, design concepts, and electronic high-definition images of physical objects at least fifteen working days before the submission deadline. Additionally, you need to provide design ideas and English copywriting.
You can use the school's photography studio free of charge. However, if you require the services of a professional photographer, an additional fee of 6,000 RMB per project will be charged. This includes the use of the photography studio, models (both local and international), make-up artistry and retouching services.
BACA:Portfolio is working with distinguished teachers, who have graduated from the best art schools in the UK, such as UAL, Royal College of Art or Glasgow School of Art.
Our pool of teachers includes 70 professionals out of which you can choose the best-suited teacher for your needs. All of our teachers possess either a bachelors’ or a masters’ degree.
