
Our immersive and fast-paced one-year course offers a supportive and open environment, where you can explore the many creative and experimental possibilities that art offers. Throughout the year you will be introduced to a range of creative topics, which will provide a solid foundation of art and design subjects.
The second half of the year will see you choose your pathway with the view to develop your knowledge, understanding and practical abilities of your chosen studies. With the support of a fully international teaching staff, you will be encouraged to push your limits within an English-speaking environment. BACA additionally offers tailored English support for all students throughout the course.
Course Introduction
This course explores the varied world of Contemporay Textile using- 3D, Instillation & Body Sculpture, through both traditional craftsmanship and experimental studio practice. Students inves-gate materials, processes, and conceptual approaches to textiles while incorporating elements of fine art, sculpture, spatial design and fashion. The course emphasises research, material exploration, and personal investigation, allowing students to develop a distinctive visual language. Students learn to think of textiles not only as fabric but as material-based art practice.

This course focuses on drawing,visual storytelling, and image-making across contemporary media. Students explore how artists communicate ideas through illustration, narrative imagery, and animation, developing both traditional and digital approaches. The course combines strong observational drawing with imaginative storytelling, encouraging students to build personal visual narratives.
