If you answered yes to all these questions, then the BACA Two Year A-Level course will be your perfect fit.

Our immersive two-year course offers a supportive and open environment, where you can explore the many creative and experimental possibilities that Art offers. Through-out the first year you will be introduced to a wide range of creative and diverse topics, which will provide a solid foundation of art and design subjects. The second year will see you choose your pathway with the view to develop your knowledge, understanding and practical abilities of your chosen studies. With the support of a fully international teaching staff, you will be encouraged to push your limits within an English-speaking environment. Throughout your time at BACA A-Level, you will enjoy personalised English language support by native speakers, enabling you to express your ideas as well as understand and engage with the work of others.

On completion of the first year you will receive the BACA Art Certificate. This certificate is equivalent to the first year of high school in China or the 10th year of high school in the USA, Canada or Australia or the first year of the A-Level in the UK.

After your second year you will receive the Pearson Edexcel A-Level in Art and Design. This certificate is equivalent to a high school degree in China, the USA, Canada or Australia or the 12th year of school in the UK.

Two Year A-Level Pathways

3D- Sculpture, Fashion & Surface Design

Course Introduction
This course explores the varied world of Contemporay Textile using- 3D, Instillation & Body Sculpture, through both traditional craftsmanship and experimental studio practice. Students inves-gate materials, processes, and conceptual approaches to textiles while incorporating elements of fine art, sculpture, spatial design and fashion. The course emphasises research, material exploration, and personal investigation, allowing students to develop a distinctive visual language. Students learn to think of textiles not only as fabric but as material-based art practice.

What makes this course unique?
Unlike traditional textile courses, this programme integrates:
· Textile design with fine art experimentation
· Tactile exploration using material such as bio-textile, latex and ceramic
· 3D, spatial, sculpture and installation approaches
· New technologies such as e-textiles, 3D printing, digital fabrication and print

2D- Drawing, Illustration and Animation

Course Introduction
This course focuses on drawing,visual storytelling, and image-making across contemporary media. Students explore how artists communicate ideas through illustration, narrative imagery, and animation, developing both traditional and digital approaches. The course combines strong observational drawing with imaginative storytelling, encouraging students to build personal visual narratives.

Critical and contextstudies

At BACA, we believe that creative skills and critical writing go hand in hand. Our CCS program is integrated into all aspects of your education, including written annotations and essays. You will have dedicated periods for creative workshops, lectures, English language teaching, and one-to-one tutorials with our tutors. We also offer IELTS classes to improve your English proficiency, which is crucial for admission to University of Arts London courses. Our goal is to provide you with a comprehensive education that develops your technical abilities, critical thinking, and communication skills.
